In this painting, I’m looking at the relationships and the emotional impact. 
2020 was all about family and family time, I was able to focus on nature celebrating the smaller human footprint, nature blossomed and birds and butterflies emerged.
These last few years are forcing one to look inwards, we are all still pushing boundaries...finding and loosing the form.

I can feel the salty smell of the air, and the vastness of horizons bounded only by a vault of azure sky above and the sea in front against the yellow limestone at the edge.
The shimmer and the light all cast magic of mystery.

Are the fours words that don't require us to say anything at all, yet as soon as we hear it takes us to the world of story telling. we don't need to know the characters, or the facts that are about to unfold. we are ready to take on all the unknown and the uncertainties… we allow ourselves to drift into a time period that takes us into a world of imagination.
 There is lasting and ubiquitous appeal and these words promise to lure  us into a land of fantasy and make- believe, magic kingdoms, talking animals and flying people.
In this painting I wish to capture this magic of the story telling that revolve around the life of Bedouins. 

It is a time for reflection and acknowledging the past. A history that continues to coexist with the technological advances. There is history, mystery and stories to found and retold.
