About Us

Our philosophy of 'Head Above Water' means we put mental health awareness at the forefront of our business.

At Surface, we know the importance of keeping your ‘Head Above Water’. Surface at its core had mental health in mind when creating the concept of Surface. Therefore, we are super excited to announce that a portion of every sale will be donated to the Mental Health Foundation of New Zealand. Starting out as a small business, Surface at its core aimed to create awareness around mental health and break the stigmas associated with speaking up - but it doesn’t stop there. We want to push further and do what we can to make our planet a better place. So if you have any ideas and would like to collaborate, send a message below and we’ll see what we can do!

Q: When Will I Receive My Order? 

We will send your order the same business day or the next business day.

Q: How do I track my order?

We will send you your tracking link via email once your order has been shipped!

Q: What payment methods do you accept?

We currently accept payments via Debit/Credit Card, Paypal, and Afterpay.

Q: I need to exchange/return my order, what should I do?

Email us at surfaceclothingco@gmail.com and we'll get that sorted for you. Shipment of the product(s) back to our address will be at cost to the customer.

Q: Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we ship to most countries! We have most of the world covered, but if you don't see your country listed, please contact us and we will see what we can do!

Q: Do I have to pay duties/tax on my order?

For some of our international customers, you may be charged duties or taxes by your local customs authorities. Duties and taxes are the responsibility of the customer. 

Q: How is my order packaged?

We package all items in compostable packaging. Our shipping labels are also compostable.

Q: Are carbon emissions offset from my shipping order?

We offset the carbon emissions of each shipment via Shopify Planet - a program with multiple carbon sequencing initiatives. 

Q:  If I have a concern about the whereabouts of my order, what should I do?

Most of the time, this may be a short delay. Keep an eye on your tracking number and contact the courier company handling your order directly. This varies depending on your address. 

Q: If a product I want is sold out, what should I do?

Sometimes our products do sell out quickly. There is a small chance that we may re-stock items in the future, so please reach out and we'll see what we can do.

Q: I need help with sizing, what should I do?

We have sizing details available on our product pages but you can also head over to our sizing page for all sizing/product fit information.
