How to add in our company logo

You may upload your company logo on the Sunpos app on your Sunmi POS device.
Step 1. Transfer your company logo image to your Smartphone, you will need it in this process.
Step 2. On your Sunmi POS device, click the menu button
Step 3. Click Store in the Settings sections.
Step 4. Click the Upload button under the Store Image section. It will display a QR code.
Step 5. Scan this QR code with your smartphone, upload the image.

After making the payment, how soon will I receive the device?

You may receive a confirmation of purchase from our sales rep and will receive the device within 3-5 working days.

How can I add new items to my store? Can I import items from an existing list?

You may follow the steps in the video no.4, it will show you how to add items and upload items in bulk.

Where can I manage inventory, stock-in, and related functions?

Accepted Answer

You may manage inventory on your Merchant Dashboard. If you have multi-chain stores, Inventory management is only accessible via the Store/Branch level, not in the HQ level.

For Multi-Chain: How do I distribute created items to all or selected stores?

You may distribute items to your branches/stores on the HQ level in the Merchant Dashboard.

Step 1. Click on Menu Template Management under the Item Tab. Create a Menu.

Step 2. Click on Product Distribution under the Item Tab. You will see 3 distribution options (Add New Items, Replace Menu, and Remove Distributed Items).

Step 3. Choose a method of item distribution.

Step 4. Click on the Select button on the top right to add in a Menu. Click Next

Step 5. Choose the Stores you want to distribute items to.

Step 6. Click Distribute.

How do we use the barcode scanning function? For example, during payment, if we scan the barcode of a product, will it automatically appear in the order list?

Will the product barcode be generated automatically?

Accepted Answer

Product barcode numbers will only be generated if you bulk import the items into the dashboard. You may export the barcode numbers and produce barcode tags/labels by your own methods.

Can SUNPOS automatically print out the product barcodes? Is it possible to print multiple barcodes in bulk?

No, it is not possible to print barcodes. You may only export the barcode numbers from the dashboard, convert the number into barcodes and print by your own methods.

How can I generate the table QR code?

Accepted Answer

There are 2 types of table order QR. Method 1 is the store staff can print out dynamic QR Order tickets generated upon customer arrival. Method 2 is you may print out static QR for table ordering.

Method 1 : Upon customer arrival. Store staff can print out their dynamic QR order tickets in the table selection page, on the SUNMI POS.

Method 2 :
Step 1. In the SUNMI POS, Click on the Menu button.
Step 2. Click on Table Management in the Management section.
Step 3. Click on the button to the LEFT of the Sequence button. This will display a QR code for you to scan. Using your smart phone, scan this QR code.
Step 4. Your smart phone will prompt you to download a file. This file will contain the static QR codes assigned to each table of your establishment.

Question 11

Once the QR code is created and scanned, can it be set so that customers can only view the menu but not place any orders directly?

No, currently QR ordering will always allow customers to place orders directly.

How can I increase the font size for the kitchen printer?

You may increase the font size of the kitchen production order ticket on the creation and design of the tickets. (Store Management > Print Management > Receipt Management)

How do I add a LAN or wireless printer?

You may add printers directly on the SUNMI POS. 
Step 1. Click on the Menu button.
Step 2. Under the Settings section, click on Connect.
Step 3. Click on Add External Device.

NOTE 1: Not every model of ticket/receipt printer is compatible with your SUNMI POS. Please get more info from our Sales Rep for compatibility. 
NOTE 2: SUNPOS will not allow the store to run both WIFI or LAN at the same time, in the event your kitchen printer is set up to use WIFI white your front desk uses LAN, SUNPOS it will prioritize WIFI over LAN, making your front desk receipt printer not able to print. If your store prefers to use LAN, all the devices and printers must use LAN.

How do I set up the kitchen printer?

Step 2. Under the Store management section, Click on the Print Management.
Step 3. Go to Kitchen Sections.
Step 4. Click on the “+Add” option on the top right corner.

Is it possible to route specific items to a selected printer?

Yes you may route specific items to selected printers. First you will need to create kitchen sections (Store Management > Print Management > Kitchen Sections). In the creation of kitchen sections, under Select Items, click on Part Items. Here you are able to add the items you want to route.

Where can I edit the receipt layout?

Yes you may create and edit receipt layouts on the Store Level Merchant Dashboard
Step 1. Go to Store Management.
Step 2. Under the Store management section, Click on the Print Management.
Step 3. Go to Receipt management. Press the button on top right called “Add a new Invoice Style”
Step 4. Fill the basic information, also you can adjust your invoice style.

Can SUNPOS print a receipt only upon request?

Accepted Answer

Yes you may print receipts upon request. The settings to print receipt after payment should be disabled and to print receipts manually, you need to go to the sales report tab to print.

What payment methods are supported, and how do I set them up (Cash, Member, QR, etc.)?

In this current build, SUNPOS supports cash payment, QR payment, membership in-store credit and membership points
Step 1. Go to Store Management.
Step 2. Under the Store management section, go to Charge Management.
Step 3. Go to Payment management. You can set up QR or Cash payment from there.

Does SUNPOS support credit card payments?

Sunpos does support Credit Card System but you will need to purchase an additional SUNMI P2 device and need to setup banking account with Hong Leong Bank (Compulsory)

We would like to integrate the credit card terminal with the POS system.  Once integrated, does it mean we no longer need to carry the physical card machine outside for wireless payment processing?

No, there will not be any integration of the Credit Card terminal with the POS System. All Card transactions will go through the additional SUNMI P2 payment terminal device.

Step 1. Click Employee Management under Account Management.
Step 2. Click Create Employee.
Step 3. Fill in employee details and assign role.

Step 1. In the POS login page. Click Forgot Password. Acquire password from email.

Note. This step is to validate email.

How can I control system functionality access based on roles?

If you are a Single Store Account Holder, you may configure accesses based on roles by heading to Account Permissions > Role & Permissions Management. If you are a Multi-chain Account Holder, these settings are in your store level dashboard.

There are 2 ordering methods. 1. POS ordering via cashier. 2. Dynamic/static QR Ordering at the table.

How do I switch between layout modes (Quick Transactions vs. Table Mode)?

You may switch layout mode on the Store Management > Store Settings > Basic Store Settings > Layout Setup Mode.

NOTE : If you are a multi-chain account holder, this setting is only available in the Headquarters Level Merchant Dashboard. Once you have set the layout, don't forget to distribute the settings to your stores/branches.

How do I manage tables (create, merge, move, close, etc.)?

You may create tables and design the layout of the table areas on the Merchant Dashboard. (Please refer to video no. 8)

To manage created tables, you may do it directly in the SUNPOS POS system in the Tables page.

Yes SUNPOS allows transaction holds. The cashier clicks on the Save button beside the Total Bill Amount button.

How do I set up members in SUNPOS? And how do I add money/points into their accounts?

There are 3 parts to memberships. 1. Searching and adding members, 2. Member settings, 3. Adding currencies into member accounts. First you need to set the member setting. Member settings consist of 2 parts, Point Settings and Level Settings. Once you’ve set up the Member Settings, you can now Add Members. There are 2 methods to Add New Members. 1. Add New Members via the Merchant Dashboard, 2. Add New Members directly from the SUNMI POS system. Points will be added after every purchase. Store Credit top-ups are done after the store staff searches for the customers account.

How do I create discounts and coupons?

Step 1. Go to the branch you want to add promotion.

Step 2. Click on the Marketing tab on the navigation bar.

Step 3. Enter the Coupon Tab and will find 3 options: “Amount of coupon” , “Percent of coupon” and “Gift coupon”. You can customize it to your preference and add promotions.
