The Best Wedding Photographer We Could Have Dreamed Of! 📸

I knew I wanted Sheila to photograph my wedding the second I looked through her portfolio… but after our very first conversation, that’s what truly solidified my decision. Sheila is everything you could want in a wedding photographer, calm, collected, professional,  but also incredibly confident and so good at directing everyone in front of the camera!

On a day where emotions are high and timelines matter, it was such a relief having someone who knew exactly what she was doing. Sheila is not afraid to tell people where to stand (which is SO necessary with big families and bridal parties 😂), and because of that, everything moved smoothly and efficiently without ever feeling rushed.

We chose to do a private first look where we shared our vows, and it was one of the most intimate, emotional moments of our entire day. It meant so much knowing Sheila was capturing every second of it, while also somehow not being overly in our faces with the camera. She gave us space to just be in the moment, and that balance is such a gift.

One thing that truly stood out was how Sheila took the time to make sure we were comfortable during every part of the day. From shuffling people around to ensure first looks had the right people watching, and then ensuring that we ate dinner (while still also hitting peak sunset for photos). She truly made us feel at ease in front of the camera.

When we received our photos, we were absolutely blown away. Sheila didn’t just take pictures, she captured the magic, emotion, and energy of our wedding day perfectly. Every time we look at our gallery, we’re transported right back to those moments.
