Which agencies do you certify with?

We certify through SDI/TDI. We can accommodate, by special request, certifications through NAUI and/or PADI.

What is included in the price of a SCUBA course?

We believe in complete transparency and up-front pricing. All of the courses we offer include self-paced online course instruction and materials, 2 days of in-water skills sessions, all necessary gear* for your skills sessions, and your certification card** in the cost of the course.

*Gear includes mask, snorkel, fins, booties, BCD, regulator, tank & air, weights, and wetsuit (dependent on current water temperature).

**Certification will ONLY be completed if the student passes the e-course AND ALL SKILLS required for their course level.

Question 3

I am already certified but I haven't done a dive in a long time, do you offer a refresher course?

Yes! In fact we highly recommend a refresher course for anyone who has not completed a dive in the previous 12 months.

Do you certify kids?

Yes! Courses are available for anyone 10yrs+ with parent permission.

Question 5

I'm not sure if SCUBA diving is for me, but I want to try it. Do you offer something that will let me see if I like it before I commit to an Open Water SCUBA certification?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely! Our Discover SCUBA course is for you. All necessary gear is provided. This course does not require any e-learning courses and includes 30-40 minutes in the water with an instructor learning basic skills, concepts, and how it feels to breathe underwater!

*Please note that this is NOT a certification course; you will not be certified to dive at the end of the course. Our Open Water SCUBA Diver course would be your next step and is the entry-level SCUBA certification course.

When are the in-water skills sessions?

We work to accommodate your schedule. Most sessions will take place Saturday & Sunday mornings. Other timeframes can be scheduled on a case-by-case basis as you work with your instructor.

How big are your class sizes?

Class sizes are limited to 4 students per instructor, max. We currently have 2 instructors who may teach concurrently (up to 8 students per group, separated to 4 per instructor).

We also offer private instruction as well!

Do you offer special event or group course sessions?

Accepted Answer

We are always open to new ideas and events! If you have an idea we would LOVE to hear from you!

Examples of special events/course sessions could include:
> Ladies-Only Open Water Certification course
> Open Water courses for local dive clubs (adult or school-level clubs)
> Veteran-Only Open Water course
> Family certification for individuals with disabilities

Question 9

Divers with Disabilities: I have seen some SCUBA instruction centers offer dive courses for individuals with certain disabilities, can you do this?
