IS THERE A FEE TO JOIN?

-No, there’s no fee to join. However, you’re welcome to share some snacks if you’d like. 😉

DO YOUR RUNS INCLUDE MEDALS, SHIRTS, FREEBIES, ETC?

Accepted Answer

-No. Our runs do not include medals, shirts, or freebies. RunVali is managed by volunteers who generously give their time to keep the community moving. We run simply for health, movement, and community.

That said, we do have partner brands where you can enjoy exclusive discounts. Details on our partners and how to avail these discounts can be found via the link in our bio.

ARE KIDS/MINORS ALLOWED?

-Yes, they are allowed as long as they are accompanied by their guardian and a waiver has been submitted. The suggested run for kids/minors is our easy 5K runs in Nuvali. Feel free to scroll through our previous posts to see sessions where kids have joined. 😊

ARE NEWBIES ALLOWED TO JOIN?

-Totally! All fitness levels are welcome at RunVali. For beginners, we recommend joining our easy 5K runs in Nuvali.

CAN I STILL JOIN EVEN IF I’M NOT REGISTERED?

Accepted Answer

-As much as we’d love to accommodate everyone, we have limited manpower, so we need to cap the number of participants per session. That’s why registration is required. However, Nuvali is an open space, and everyone is welcome, so if you missed the registration, you’re free to run on your own. Don’t worry! We hold sessions every month, so you can definitely join us next time.

HOW DO I CONFIRM MY REGISTRATION?

-After submitting your waiver, you should receive a copy of your submission indicating the session(s) you’ve signed up for. This serves as your registration confirmation. If you don’t receive a copy, you may message us so we can help confirm your registration.

CAN I RUN ALONE WITHOUT JOINING A SESSION?

Accepted Answer

-Yes! Nuvali is an open space, so you can run anytime from 5:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Joining a RunVali session is optional but gives you the added benefit of community and motivation.

Note: Running hours in Nuvali may change, so you can also message Nuvali directly for the latest updates.

ARE THERE REST STOPS OR WATER STATIONS?

-There will be no water stations along the route. So, we strongly recommend bringing your own water. We will have different pace groups (easy, moderate, and fast), and hydration needs may vary depending on the pace you choose. Please plan accordingly.

CAN I BRING MY PETS ON THE RUNS?

Accepted Answer

-Yes, pets are allowed in our 5K easy runs in Nuvali, but owners must be careful and responsible. Please keep in mind that there are other runners. Safety is always our priority.

-Yes, but only on a pre-order basis. Please wait for our future announcements for ordering details.

WHAT SHOULD I BRING TO A RUNVALI SESSION?

-Wear comfortable running shoes. Bring water, a towel, and a positive attitude! Sunscreen and a hat are also recommended for sunny days. For other sessions like LSDs, feel free to ask in the GCs if you’re unsure what else to bring.

WHAT TYPE OF RUNS DO YOU DO?

-We offer a mix of easy runs, long slow distance (LSD) runs, interval workouts, and functional workouts. Sessions may vary weekly, so be sure to check the schedule for the specific run type.

WHERE DO YOU RUN?

-Our usual run locations include Nuvali, Westborough, RevPal, Carmerlray, Biñan Oval, and Cardiac Hill. The exact location, meet-up, time, and route for each session are always indicated in our schedule.

DO YOU HAVE PACERS AND SWEEPERS?

-Yes. We have designated pacers for different pace groups, as well as sweepers to make sure no one gets left behind. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced runner, you’ll be supported throughout the run.
