I started at Status in early December 2025, while they were still setting up their office location, from the beginning of my interactions with the Mandurah staff, my experiences have been very positive, they strive to be understanding and be compassionate when it comes to complex health issues that often have overlapping symptoms, issues that often impede employment potential.

They work to find you the right pathway that fits rather than trying to force a square peg into a round hole, which ultimately leads to burnout and specifically in regional/outer metro areas, can lead to future difficulties finding gainful employment as it is highly competitive.

Majority of my interactions have been with my regular consultant Jennifer, she is a very knowledgeable and compassionate person, consistently working to keep communication clear and open, which not only makes it easier to engage in appointments, but to not feel that it is a chore to attend, or that I am treated as aa nameless interchangeable component, which previously at other agencies has been a barrier in engagement.

She is a warm, considerate employee that takes pride in maintaining a high quality of standard in her sessions, initially taking extra time to build rapport with her clients, and then maintaining it as you progress through the process of finding long-term work, workplace upskilling and life skills.

I have also had very positive interactions in the weekly group sessions with Ruby, once again reaffirming that the staff are attentive and engaged in the betterment of their clients overall well-being rather than having their singular priority be statistic based results.

The staff that I have not had direct one on one engagement with are also very warm and welcoming, fostering an environment that creates a strong foundation for growth.

Based on my experiences in the last 6 months, I would recommend this agency to friends and family, and I look forward to seeing it become well established in the Mandurah/Murray area.

I have been seeing Ruby at Status for the past few months, she is an absolutely wonderful young lady, I was recently diagnosed with a mental health condition, unlike my psychiatrist, Ruby took the time to explain and gave me alot of valuable information so I could understand my condition. She is very caring, makes me feel at ease, she is not judgemental and is very understanding, which people in my position really need. She managed to help me see what my condition is away from the stereotype. Could not recommend her more.
