No, not professionally. I used to be a passionate hobby photographer, specializing in street, urban and Macro shots. 
Due to lack of time I don't take pictures anymore (except some snapshots on the way).

Who is your favorite writer?

I have a few favourite writers who mean a lot to me. Charles Bukowski’s poetry is raw and real. It speaks to the soul in an honest and personal way. Stephen King has created an amazing fantasy world. It takes me to places beyond my imagination, where anything can happen. Friederike Mayröcker’s poetry is wild and creative. It surprises and delights me every time. Each of these writers has influenced my reading journey. I am always inspired by their work.

What do you write about?

Coming straight from journalism, I best can rely on facts, scenes that happened, numbers that are written down on Wikipedia, and events that I witnessed.

In my years as a copywriter, I learned to use language in a creative way.

What is textkonfetti.de?

Textkonfetti is a small side project of mine. It all started with my kid‘s question: “How many sleeps until...” A small web application helped. Meanwhile Textkonfetti has grown and offers more web applications. Since I’m a text person, most of the tools help make my work life easier, like an anonymizer to create secure and compliant input for AI, a text modifier that corrects typography like quotes or apostrophes in different languages.
Textkonfetti can be used on both desktop and mobile. The web application uses a framework that optimizes it for mobile use. Give it a try!
