Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM) is a powerful tool for evaluating adenoviral vectors (AVs) used in gene therapies and vaccines.

It assesses vector quality by distinguishing between intact, empty, and filled viral particles, which helps determine a vector's infectivity. Unaffected by other impurities, TEM also provides crucial visual analysis of particle integrity and purity throughout the manufacturing process.
