Angelika G. Del Carmen is a multi-talented professional with experience in journalism, writing, and design.  A Quezon City University alumna (B.S. Entrepreneurship) and current journalism student (University of the Philippines Diliman, scholar), she has demonstrated a commitment to impactful reporting, evidenced by her award-winning investigative journalism. Recognized for her writing prowess, Ms. Del Carmen has authored five internationally published books, contributed to numerous publications, and received international accolades, including the 2022 International Excellence Award (Nepal) and the Philippines' InveStar Grand Championship. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurshipfrom Quezon City University, and is currently pursuing Journalism at University of the Philippines Diliman where she was a scholar, She's commitment to impactful journalism was recognized with a 2nd place award in Investigative Journalism for an exposé on economic hardships faced by wage earners in the Philippines. She has also completed  courses in Contract Business Management from the University of Southampton,Accountancy in Yale University, and Business Management in Singapore.

Balancing education and advocacy, her editorial board at The QCU Times crafts stories that resonate with the campus and beyond. Her article on the country's stance on divorce earned the Best in Editorial College Category accolade, reflecting her dedication to thought-provoking discourse.

Angelika has been recognized for her writing, winning awards like the Most Promising Writeraward and Outstanding Scholar Award. She has authored five internationally published books,
contributed to various publications, and received multiple international awards, including theInternational Excellence Awards in 2022 in Nepal. She was also the Grand Champion of thePhilippines’ InveStar: An Entrepreneurial Battle for Students.

Currently, she is a member of the FactsFirstPH Coalition by Rappler to advocate factual reporting, and is connected to College Editor’s Guild of the Philippines – NCR, where she is a member and a secretariat for public relations and alliances. Aside from it, she is currently a member as well of Asian American Journalist Association that advocates also factual reporting and Press Freedom. Lastly, Angelika was also a registered writer, editor and illustrator at National Book Development Board of the Philippines for 5 years.
