Peter Robertstad is a Norwegian musician, composer, arranger, conductor and educator based in the cities of Trondheim and Oslo, where he has made a name for himself as a stellar trombone player working within both jazz, pop/rock, funk and theatre music.

He is currently leading his quintet Dimension, as well as working with the prominent Norwegian Big Bands Det Nye Norske Storband and Trøndelag Big Band. Peter is a member of critically acclaimed post-funk band Nea & the Regulars. He is the conductor of  Kjellerbandet, a student big band in Trondheim.

As a recording musician he has participated on multiple releases with Nea & the Regulars and Kristin Evens, in addition to his own album, Feil Vei!, released by his former jazz quintet Universell Pelikan.

Peter is a composer on an international level, most notably composing the prize winning work Equilibrium for the Latvian Radio Big Band in 2023 and scoring a scene for the documentary "Oh, it Hertz" (2021).
