Path to Bloom is a science-based equine welfare and behaviour consultancy, offering multidisciplinary support that addresses the horse as the complex, interconnected system it truly is. We provide behavioural and management consultations, physical and manual therapies, and nutritional consultancy, drawing on neuroethology, animal osteopathy and evidence-based practice to support both physical balance and emotional regulation. A central focus of our work is distinguishing between purely behavioural issues and those rooted in pain, including subclinical pain, through thorough assessment across static, dynamic, lunged and ridden work. Rather than treating symptoms in isolation, we look at the wider picture, considering physiology, environment and management alongside behaviour itself. Alongside consultations, Path to Bloom delivers science communication and educational programmes grounded in peer-reviewed research, from webinars to full-immersion clinics, bringing current welfare science to riders, trainers and professionals across the equestrian world. Founded by Debora Cinganelli, MSc MRSB, equine neuroethologist and welfare specialist, Path to Bloom is committed to helping owners and professionals make informed, horse-centred decisions grounded in genuine scientific understanding.
