Submission Form

All OU-Tulsa students, faculty, and staff are invited to contribute to the Schusterman Library's 2026 collaborative zine!

- This zine will be a standard half-page format (each page will measure 5.5" x 8.5")
- Submissions to this year's collaborative zine will be accepted until December 31st, 2026. You may submit more than once
- The finished zine is scheduled to be available in February 2027
- There will be 200 print copies available for free, a digital version, and at least one print copy in circulation at the Schusterman Library

The optional theme for the 2026 zine is:

Metamodern Renaissance

- Collective renewal and rebirth of culture, artistry, curiosity, passion, and discovery 
- Fostering hope, agency, resilience, and creativity in an age of apathy, instability, uncertainty, and division 
- Revival of the visionary—after all, a brighter future cannot be possible until one first imagines it to be 

What drives you? Where do you feel the most aligned? How do you persist? When do you enter a state of flow? From your perspective, what does our future look like in the “best possible timeline”? 

These are some guiding questions that might help you get started, but you’re encouraged to submit anything you’d like!

Your submission may or may not include: 
- Explanation of a topic you’re exploring (as a student or as a person) 
- Information that’s useful and/or meaningful to you 
- Photos, drawings, poems, paintings, collages, or anything else you create

All OU-Tulsa students, staff, and faculty are invited to attend the Schusterman Library’s Spring Zine Workshop on March 24th! Zines are DIY publications that are used for self-expression and sharing ideas. Stop by this come-and-go event to learn more about zines at the Schusterman Library, including:

- Exploring different uses for zines
- Why the library is collecting zines
- How to make your own zine

The workshop will be open from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. for you to drop in to ask a librarian questions, grab a writing prompt, or stay a while to work on creating a zine. Supplies will be provided. Registration is appreciated, but not required.
