Nimbor

I'm Nimbor, an electronic artist and producer based in Montreal creating atmospheric Electronica and IDM that blends breakbeats, layered synthesizers, live instruments, voice samples and glitch textures. Inspired by 90s artists such as Squarepusher, Ulrich Schnauss, Boards of Canada and Unwound, as well as retro-futurism and Y2K aesthetics, my music balances nostalgic sound design with a modern, cinematic approach. My debut 11-track album, Impermanence, releases on August 14. Built around analog synthesizers, layered drum breaks and shimmering guitar melodies that occasionally recall Pinback, the album blends nostalgic and uplifting melodies with introspective vocals, creating an immersive atmosphere that encourages deep focus and a free-flowing state. Recorded at home after returning from a 10-day silence retreat, it reflects a period of introspection, impermanence and personal renewal.
