natejoy is the solo work of singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, Nate Hutchison. Growing up in Waco, TX, Nate’s passion for music was constantly bubbling under the surface. After a few years of playing guitar, he started writing his own songs. His love for the art form unlocked a new world of creative possibility. He’s gone on to contribute vocals, drums, guitar, and bass to multiple bands, as well as writing and co-producing songs with friends like Calvin Duffield. Now, after years of playing in rock bands, Nate’s decided to embark on his most ambitious project yet. Sonically, natejoy’s focus is straightforward: energy. The electrifying blend of indie rock and alternative pop is guaranteed to make you smile and dance, while Nate’s honest, introspective lyrics will keep you thinking. Working out of the studio he built in his backyard, Nate is currently focused on creating a library of his most creative work and sharing it with as many people as he can.
