Great place, TERRIBLE customer service!

Both servers today were so unhelpful and downright rude. It wasn’t even busy.
Train your staff in customer service, it’s costing you dearly.
The older lady on the front desk with the blonde hair and glasses is guaranteed rude every time I visit.

We absolutely love the crèche at Des Renford Leisure Centre!

The educators are all so friendly, caring, and professional — they’ve created such a warm and welcoming environment for little ones. My daughter Harper attends once a week while her brother and I go to swimming lessons and she always goes in happily and comes out with a big smile.

It’s such a peace of mind knowing she’s in great hands and being well cared for while I do lessons. We’re really grateful for this service — it’s been a fantastic experience all around.

Highly recommend to any parents using the leisure centre!

I rang up in the morning inquiring about a gym membership and Giselle was amazing. She was so helpful, friendly, and took the time to answer all of my questions properly. I then came into the gym around lunch time to get a 3 day free membership so I could trial the gym before signing up, and I was helped by Imogen. She was absolutely lovely and made the whole process so easy and welcoming. Overall, my interactions with both girls were amazing and they both provided such great customer service🫶🏼

The facility is great overall. Internal and external pools are good. Big parking lot available. Lots of group-classes selection. Spacious and clean gym room. However, my review relates to the reception staff at this  centre, in particular, to the blonde hair old lady. Some work desperately needs to be done on her customer service skills. Constantly looking away while you try to talk to her, abruptly putting you on hold whilst you're still talking, ignoring you or starting a conversation with other people while you’re still talking, not providing answers to questions or allegedly making you feel like a liar, are just a few examples of what I've experienced when attending the centre. The instructors, other staff members and managers are lovely in contrast. The crèche service is excellent. The bathrooms hygiene should be significantly improved.

This may not be the fanciest gym I’ve been to, but it’s definitely the cleanest and best maintained. Every time I come in, I see staff cleaning equipment and restocking disinfectant and paper towels. Near closing time, they even wipe down every machine.

A few weeks ago, while I was working out, I noticed a staff member regularly checking whether disinfectant and paper towels were sufficiently stocked and refilling them immediately. She also cleaned and organized the equipment as soon as members finished using it. I thanked her and learned her name is Michelle (hope I got that right).

During my time at the gym, she was hardly ever sitting at her station. She stayed on the floor the entire time, watching attentively so she could step in and help members whenever needed. If you happen to see this Michelle, I would like to express my thanks once again. You and your team should be truly proud of yourselves. It is your work that provides members with a clean, fresh, and enjoyable workout environment. Thank you all
