Pantera Dance Company, led by Jade Opal, is a Coachella Valley–based, Black-owned, LGBTQ-aligned Afro-Latin dance company that empowers dancers of all ages, welcoming supervised youth from age 12. Offering weekly Salsa classes and a performance team—Chitá Salsa Shines, and soon, salsa partnering and hip-hop teams—Pantera centers Afro-Latin, Black American, and queer stories. Its choreography blends salsa, heels fusion, and Afro-Latin traditions to create spaces for intersectionality, resistance, and communal healing. Welcoming all races and genders, Pantera fosters connection through drop-in and membership classes, performance opportunities, and cultural celebration, inspiring dancers to move, feel, and exist unapologetically.

Hi! I’m excited to support your dance journey! Private lessons (1–2 people) focus on your specific needs, including personalized drills and confidence-building. Lessons are held at a local studio based on availability (floor fees included), and lessons beyond 25 miles incur a commute fee. Must be used within 30 days of payment; refunds aren’t provided.
