WHAT TO DO: Make sure paired courses are added correctly (ex: COMP 151 and COMP 143; BIOL 100 and BIOL 100L)

WHAT TO DO: If you are looking to retake the course for a higher grade, you need to submit a "Repeat Course Form." Once approved, you can register for the course as long as there are seats available. Who is my academic advisor?

You will be assigned an academic advisor in the Academic Achievement Center within the first 1-2 weeks of the semester. We will send you a welcome email during that time to let you know who your advisor is!

Can I change my schedule?

Where are my AP/Dual Enrollment/or other transfer credits?

AP credits are earned when you score a 3 or higher on the AP exam. Make sure to sign into your College Board account, and have your scores sent to BSU. Our college code is 3517. If you have already sent your scores, please be aware that it can take up to 2 weeks to receive scores. The AAC will notify you if you have earned credits, and if you need to make a change to your schedule!

If you participated in a dual enrollment program, or took college credits outside of BSU, be sure that any transcripts related to these courses are sent to BSU. Transcripts can often be sent electronically. It can take 2-3 weeks to receive and process these credits.

How can I get a copy of my schedule?

To see your schedule, you can select "student schedule" or "week at a glance" from the left-hand toolbar of your student profile.

Student Accessibility Services (SAS) is the office on campus that can support with accommodation eligibility. If you had an IEP or 504 plan in high school, or are wondering if you are eligible for accommodations for any reason, please reach out to SAS. It is important to get connected early--even if you don't think you will have to use your accommodation, you want to have them available in case a special circumstance arises!

Prior to the start of every semester, students are EMAILED to their BSU email account when charges are ready for review and payment!

Where can I buy my books?

There are a few ways to do this! 
1. Go to the BSU bookstore website: https://www.bkstr.com/bridgewaterstatestore/home
2. Click on the menu option on the top left-hand part of the page (it looks like three horizontal lines) and select "textbooks"
3. Select "find your textbooks"
4. Put in your Bear ID (this is the number that starts with "00" and can be found on your student profile)
5. Select the term (this fall is Fall 2025) and click "find courses"
6. Each class that you are registered for will appear, and if there is related textbook information, it will be there.

You can purchase or rent your books anywhere you choose (it does not have to be the BSU bookstore)! This just gives you the information so you can begin to shop around.
