MURDER IN THE HOUSE OF DIAMONDS  is inspired by the life of Charles J. Kane.

 A U.S. immigration officer in Puerto Rico discovers he was adopted during the Nazi occupation of Belgium—and that both his adoptive mother in the 1970s and his biological mother during the Holocaust were victims of the same systems of state violence, decades apart.

 Set partly in 1970s Puerto Rico, the series reveals how jeweler murders financed Cuban exile terrorism through organized crime, exposing how political extremism and state-sanctioned violence repeat across generations and continents.
