NEW: When Staying Home Stops Working (Book 2) on Amazon
When Staying Home Stops Working: A Step-by-Step Guide to Home Care, Assisted Living, Memory Care, and the MoveMargot AshwellEbookWhen the current arrangement isn't working anymore, what comes next?
The missed pills. The second near-fall. The sister who has driven over every evening for a year and just said she can't keep doing it.
When Staying Home Stops Working helps your family see the situation clearly, look honestly at what home can still offer, and decide what comes next, without panic or guilt.
Inside, you'll find:
* 12 signs the current setup may be breaking down
* The Family Capacity Test: what staying home really asks of everyone
* The 24-Hour Math: cover the moments that matter, not just the hours
* Assisted living and memory care, line by line, including what is NOT in the advertised price
* True cost comparisons that count family hours, not only dollars
* How to tour twice, plus 100 questions to ask before you choose
* Scripts for hard conversations and a 45-minute family meeting plan
* A 30-day move plan and a first-month review
* More than 70 working pages: forms, scorecards and trackers you can fill in
Includes a free Family Care Decision Sheet (Google Sheets) to share with siblings so everyone works from the same facts.
Written for adult children, spouses and family members who are carrying more than they can carry alone and need a clear way to decide.
For planning and organizing. This book is not medical, legal, tax or financial advice.
