Join us for this workshop for our smallest MAKErs. An invitation to play is an educational term and a concept that originated from an early childhood philosophy approach. This educational approach uses kid-centered and self-directed experimental learning. Simply put, an invitation to play is when we offer materials to the child that are open-ended (can be used a wide variety of ways). Essentially, you INVITE them to play by displaying these materials in interesting ways and then let the child explore those materials. In doing so, the child will learn how the materials work, both individually and together. At each workshop toddlers will have the opportunity to play sensory bins as well as a variety of other stations. All materials will be provided. This workshop is open to toddlers 18 months to 5 years however most activities are geared toward 3-5 year old. Terms, Safety and Photo Waiver

Mess MAKEr  - Toddler Invitation to Play and Art Club

Single Class

MAKE Art in the Park Toddler Workshops are held during the summer season and are located at Gilbert Park @ 2929 Calder in Beaumont. Workshops are designed for children in 18 months to age 5 and last approximately 45 minutes. All materials are provided and are non-toxic. Children may take their finished art projects with them. A parent must accompany their child; however, they are asked to allow the artists to assist their child.

Join us for a fun & sticky afternoon as we turn the studio into a Slime Factory! Learn to make 2 types of slime. Glitter and Classic! June 28th 1:00 PM- 2:30 PM $25 if Booked Online! Walk ins will not be accepted. (15 students max) Recommended for ages 5-14 (Younger kids will need assistance). THIS IS A DROP OFF CLASS FOR CHILDREN THAT FALL BETWEEN 5-14. Parents are welcome to stay. We look forward to seeing you there!

Slime Time Workshop

Back By Popular Demand We Delve into the world of La Familia Madrigal! Sing along to songs from the hit movie Encanto! The beats, the lyrics, the flavor of Encanto can't be matched and we are so in love! We will MAKE art projects with Colombian flair! This is an exciting camp about how children are more than just their talents, and it will relate to the Disney movie "Encanto" through crafts, singing, sharing circles, and more. MAKE Creative Space SUMMER Camp is drop off only.Where: 2405 Calder AveWhen: 10:00am - 2:00pmWho: Camp is for all children 4 years old and up (no exceptions)What to bring: Please send your child with a snack, lunch, and water bottle.

Encanto Camp

This listing is for a $10 Studio Fee for a crafting session in studio! Projects will be chosen upon arrival from a menu available during check in! *Projects range from $15-$75 per item and include, ceramics, wooden items, fabric, collaging, watercoloring, clay play, and more. All "crafters" booked must partake in an individual project, projects must meet the minimum of $10.00 per person. *Crafters under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. Adult will not be charged unless included in your crafter count. During Open Studio We give you all the supplies and materials you need to make an individual project on-the-spot. You work at your own pace from tutorials and help from Creative Assistants, so you don’t have to take a class. Make what you want, when you want it! Each person can select a different DIY based on their unique preferences. Most projects can be customized too. Our helpful staff is available to assist with your project, make your experience memorable and relaxing! 1. Choose Your DIY Select a project from dozens of our current craft options including art, decor, gifts, and accessories. Each person in your group can select their own, unique craft. 2. Make a reservation or walk in Contact us for a reservation or walk in our studio! Reservations are recommended but not required. 3. Have fun! No hassle, no mess, no excuses! We provide project kits, tutorials and all the supplies to allow you to personalize your project. Relax and enjoy some drinks and bites (Bring in your own) while you create. 4. Take it home Go home with your completed, handmade craft, ready to be enjoyed in your home.
