Leo Young

Growing up in the pine forests of Pensacola as a first-generation student, I’ve always been the type to find a way. Navigating my degree independently taught me how to be resourceful and resilient, qualities I carry into everything I do. My background in university research administration allowed me to blend a lifelong love for science with my creative side—handling everything from conference outreach to designing media and mentoring students. I’ve found that I really enjoy the challenge of taking complex ideas and making them organized, visual, and accessible.
