In the North of my hallway, where the old sconces once flickered like dying torches, a contractor came as if summoned by raven—tools in hand, on time, and with no taste for excuses. He set the fixtures true and level, each one burning steady, like watchfires along the Wall. No crooked lines. No loose ends. No “that’s good enough,” as is the creed of lesser houses.
Then came the accent wall—raised not with vanity, but with craft. Planks (and patience) laid clean, corners sharp as Valyrian steel, seams tight as a well-held secret. He measured twice, cut once, and left no splintered battlefield behind him. The caulk lines were neat, the finish smooth, and the whole room now looks like it finally belongs to a noble house instead of a tired tavern.
He spoke plainly, quoted fairly, and kept his word—rarer than dragon glass these days. When the work was done, he cleaned the site like a man who knows the difference between a job finished and a job merely abandoned.
If you need fixtures installed and an accent wall worthy of the realm, swear your coin to this one. In my home, at least, craftsmanship has returned.

My wife and I were eager to remodel our bathroom but weren't looking forward to the disruption of our lives.  It turned out that we really didn't have anything to fear. Reese, with Landmark Remodeling, did everything to make the process as pain free as possible.  We had some ideas of the colors and materials we wanted and Reese did everything to make it happen.  He saved us from making a mistake on the tile we selected for the shower floor.
Before the work began, Reese provided us with a schedule for the work.  It only changed when our supplier didn't get the tile in.  Reese located the tile in Oklahoma and drove to Durant to pick it up and get the job back on track.
Angel and Jesus were great.  They did the demo and came back several times to haul off trash and do some of the detail work.  The other subs were as skilled and pleasant to work with as Landmark's own employees.
In the end, it took a week longer than expected (due to the tile being out of stock locally) but we are very happy with the results and it was completed on budget.
Next month we are going to remodel our guest bathroom and we have already lined up Reese and Landmark Remodeling to do the work.

Our bathroom & closets remodel experience with Landmark Kitchen & Bath (Landmark Remodeling) was truly a 5-star experience. From our first communication with him, we found that Reese Layton listened carefully to our wants & needs instead of trying to “sell” us features or work that we didn’t want.
