We spent two wonderful nights at the  Attic Retreat in La Muraille, Galle Fort. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel completely at home with their warm welcome and attentive service throughout our stay.
The suite was spacious, cozy, and beautifully designed. We also loved the unique decor.
The food was exceptional. We were given a complimentary coffee and refreshing fruit drinks throughout the day. Over all, the experience was quite great.
We'll definitely be returning soon.

One of the best places we’ve been to and they have the best staff! So friendly and helpful. Very approachable. Great rooms and well maintained. Will visit again..definitely!

Vast rooms - tranquil spot and yet still in the walls of Galle. Room for the whole family and facilities like walking machine and an iron which would make this a great mid/trip halt. Great staff, breakfast and facilities

Every detail — from the beautifully curated interiors and tranquil ambiance to the impeccable cleanliness — reflects thoughtful care and exceptional taste. The villa is a serene oasis amidst the vibrant energy of the Fort. Waking up to peaceful surroundings, enjoying leisurely moments within the property, and stepping out to explore the cobbled streets, cafes, and ocean views was an experience in perfect balance. What truly sets La Muraille apart is the personalised service of the entire hand picked team members of staff. Nothing felt hurried or routine; every interaction was gracious, discreet, and genuinely welcoming. A stay here is not just accommodation — it is an experience of elegance, comfort, and timeless charm. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a truly special escape in Galle Fort. “A beautifully curated boutique hotel in the heart of Galle Fort” ⭐ 10/10 We had a wonderful and memorable stay at La Muraille. The property is beautifully curated, blending antique charm with modern comfort. Our room was luxurious and thoughtfully designed, with very comfortable bedding, elegant furnishings, and a beautifully finished bathroom. The suite was impressively well equipped, and we especially loved the cozy reading nook overlooking the ramparts ,the perfect place to relax with a book or a glass of wine. Breakfast was excellent, with fresh juices, Greek yogurt, a hearty English breakfast, and a rich, aromatic coffee to finish. The staff were warm, attentive, and made us feel completely at home throughout our stay. The location is exceptional, just a few steps from the ramparts for sunset walks and a short stroll to a quiet and safe bathing spot by the sea. A special highlight was being guided to a hidden spot early Wednesday morning, where the calm water surrounded by ancient stone walls felt almost magical. We will definitely return next year for a longer stay. Special thanks to the manager for arranging our airport transfer, and to Dinusha, the property’s lady chauffeur, for her kind manner and very safe driving at a reasonable fee. Highly recommended.
