A community of women and allies who seek to build a more just and equitable world. Through our local efforts in Kansas City, we seek to create a better world for all people, starting here at home.

Where does KCWAC stand on social issues?

WHERE WE STAND
- We believe in a just and equitable world for all people. 
- Women’s rights are human rights.
- ALL people have the right to bodily autonomy.
- Our LGBTQIA2+ siblings hold the inalienable right to live their lives in safety and as a welcome part of our society. 
- The ultimate strength of any economic system begins and ends with the workers, who must be protected and empowered. 
- Any meaningful movement for liberation must amplify voices of color and acknowledge that racism is endemic to our society and must be actively confronted. 
- No human being is illegal. 
- No human being is illegal on stolen land.

Where does KCWAC stand on American Capitalism?

WHERE WE STAND
We believe that no economic system is inherently ethical or moral, but that democracy is the truest safeguard against the forces of greed, corruption, and fascism that naturally inhabit the halls of power.

How does KCWAC plan to achieve their goals?

HOW WE GET THERE
- The creation of a vibrant community where all people are welcome and accepted.  
- We will inspire revolutionary change through nonviolent protest.
- We will coordinate our protest efforts in order to empower allied political initiatives and to counter legislated hate and oppression.
- We will act with integrity, honesty, and conviction in all our dealings both with each other and with those we support and resist. 
- The cultivation of a robust community network of business & government entities, non-profit allies, and fellow activist organizations.

What are KCWACs 2025 Goals?

INITIAL GOALS: YEAR ONE

- Build an online community of 3,000 people.
- 2 Community events held on a monthly basis, 1 being a social outing in an accessible setting, and 1 being an activism-focused instructional or discussion session.  
- Cultivate an IRL community with 50 regular attendees to in-person community building events. 
- At least one member having attended or assisted with the event of another activist or community organization each month with the goal of facilitating future coordination and assistance.
- Hold and elevate direct actions regularly as the political needs appear.

What are KCWACs future goals?

EXPANDED GROWTH: YEAR TWO
KCWAC has currently set the following future goal for the Collective, but more goals will follow as we continue to work toward our Year 1 goals. Stay tuned!
- Create working groups dedicated to separate areas of activism.
