JR Elite Baseball, LLC aims to create a high-quality training environment where young athletes can
develop confidence, discipline, and strong baseball fundamentals. Our long-term goal is to establish a
dedicated JR Elite training facility that provides year-round development opportunities for players in our
community.
We are also committed to creating opportunities for underprivileged youth to access quality baseball
instruction and mentorship regardless of financial circumstances.

JR Elite Baseball, LLC was created with a mission that goes far beyond the baseball field. 
JR Elite Baseball was built to combine baseball training with mentorship and community support. The goal is not only to develop better baseball players, but to help build confident, disciplined, and resilient young people and to create year-round development opportunities for athletes and expand access for youth who may not otherwise have access to quality baseball training.

Jacob Rios, founder of JR Elite Baseball, grew up on the west side of Chicago, where sports provided structure, mentorship, and positive direction. He participated in house leagues, played multiple sports year-round, and competed on his school teams, where he developed discipline, teamwork, and leadership. He later began mentoring youth in his community and used cutting hair as a way to connect with and encourage young people. With over 10 years of coaching experience and multiple championships as a head coach, he founded JR Elite Baseball to provide high-quality training while also focusing on confidence, character development, and mentorship for young athletes on and off the field.

Over the past decade, Jacob has worked supporting youth and families through mentoring, employment support, and community programs focused on positive life opportunities and guidance.

Experience and Background:
•Over 10 years working in youth development programs
•Head Coach for multiple youth baseball teams and All-Star teams
•Multiple youth baseball championships as a Head Coach
•Experience coaching players across multiple age groups
•Work supporting victims and perpetrators of gun violence through community programs
