I’m a wife and mom who has spent a lifetime searching for answers. After years of uncertainty, I learned I carry several rare hereditary conditions, one being a mitochondrial gene mutation (MT-TD) so rare that there’s little to no research on it. My health is declining quickly, and doctors here in Oklahoma don’t know how to treat it. I’m still fighting to get my children fully evaluated, but insurance makes that difficult. My mom fights the same gene. She will be apart of this journey too! We can’t do this alone. Every bit of encouragement, sharing, or support makes a real difference.
