我是陳姑娘（Ms. Cherry）！我是一名兒科言語治療師，擁有十二年臨床經驗，曾支援不同需要的兒童，包括言語及語言發展遲緩、發展障礙、自閉症、專注力不足過度活躍症（ADHD）、讀寫障礙、選擇性緘默症等。

過往我曾於不同的私人兒童發展中心、非牟利機構，以及主流和特殊學校等多個環境工作，並與不同領域的專業人士合作。這些經驗讓我能更全面地了解每個孩子的需要，從而提供更有效的支援。

在治療工作以外，我喜歡保持活力，不論是跑步、參與不同運動，還是泡一杯咖啡，靜靜享受閱讀或畫畫的時光，都是我的放鬆方式呢！

每個孩子都是獨一無二的，我會運用多樣化的學習策略，幫助他們達致最理想的發展成果。我喜歡把創意與遊戲元素融入治療，讓每一節課都保持有趣、有效又有意義，並根據孩子的興趣和優勢度身設計活動！

我亦非常重視與家長的溝通，因為我明白每個家庭的歷程都是獨特的。透過了解家庭的背景與需要，我能提供更貼合的個人化支援，協助家長建立自信，並掌握與孩子相處及教導的技巧。除了家居練習指導外，我亦會提供在家互動的方法、協助孩子適應學校生活的策略、情緒及行為管理建議，或分享有用的資源等。

我希望以溫暖與真誠的方式陪伴孩子和家庭一起走過成長的每一步，幫助每位孩子發掘獨特的光芒，並期待和他們一起慶祝每一個閃耀的時刻。這也是「Glow」這個名字的靈感所在！

Hello, I’m Ms. Cherry! I’m a pediatric speech therapist with 12 years of experience supporting children with a wide range of needs, including speech and language delays, developmental challenges, autism, ADHD, dyslexia, selective mutism, and more. 

Being trilingual in Cantonese, English, and Mandarin, and having worked in various settings such as private child development centers, NGOs, and schools alongside dedicated professionals from diverse fields, has really helped me deepen my understanding and strengthened my belief in taking a holistic approach to each child’s development for the best outcomes. It’s also allowed me to connect with children and families from many different backgrounds as well. 

Outside of therapy, I enjoy staying active — whether it’s running, playing sports, or relaxing with a good book or drawing — all best enjoyed with a nice cup of coffee!

Every child is unique, and I use a variety of learning strategies to support the best possible outcomes. I love incorporating creative, playful methods to keep therapy sessions fun, effective, and meaningful, always tailoring everything to each child’s unique interests and strengths!

Working closely with families is really at the heart of what I do. I know every family’s journey is different, so I provide personalized support to help build parents’ confidence. This includes guidance on home practices, support and strategies at home or school, managing emotions and behaviors, sharing helpful resources, and connecting families with additional services when needed.

My mission is to accompany children and their families with warmth and genuine care as they navigate their developmental journey. I am here to support each child in discovering their unique spark and to joyfully celebrate all the wonderful things that make them shine. This is the inspiration behind the name 'Glow'.
