How bad will waxing hurt?

Everyone has a different pain tolerence, that being said I PROMISE it won’t be as bad as you think it will be. I wouldnt use the word “hurt” to describe the feeling but more of a “sting”. It stings for a few seconds after the removal, but I will apply pressure after I pull the wax off, and that helps alleviate some of that burn. And by the time I pull my hand off, you won’t feel anything. I truly feel that the worst part is just the anticipation of waiting for that next strip. But YOU GOT THIS!

How long should I grow my hair out?

Accepted Answer

Ideally you would come in to get waxed 3-4 weeks from the last time you shaved. We can however, make 2-3 weeks work. Just keep in mind that the longer you allow the hair to grow before your first appointment, the more likely we are of being able to wax ALL the hair.

What is the difference between a brazilian, bikini line, and bikini full wax?

Brazilian- removes all the hair off the pubic mound, labias, and the “between the cheeks” strips in the back. Bikini line- removes the hair about 3 fingerlength width from the inside and outside perimeter of where your underwear sits. It does not include the “between the cheeks” strips. Full bikini- removes all of the hair off the pubic mound and labias. It does not include the “between the cheeks” strips.

How long will it last?

With consistency, you should remain hair-free for about 2 to 2 1/2 weeks !!

How often should I come in?

Accepted Answer

With brazilians you should be coming in every 4-6 weeks. At around 6 weeks, the hair roots and follicles start to be healthy again. And if we do not wax before that starts, and they get healthy again, it’s like starting over again. (Think your first wax appointment) Underarms will grow faster and those can be done every 2-3 weeks.

Can I wax on my period?

We totally can wax on your period, and it’s totally normal! To be able to wax on your period you just have to insert a fresh tampon or menstrual cup right before the start of your appointment. That’s it! I will take care of everything else, and everything else goes on as normal! No big deal girl!

Can I wax if I am pregnant?

Accepted Answer

In most cases absolutely! Waxing is totally safe for mom and baby. You can always consult with your doctor if you’re nervous.
