Who are you?

My name is Geist! I am a black, domestic short-haired indoor cat, born on September 15, 2019. I was adopted at only 5 weeks old, and bottle fed by my mommy until I could venture out of the upstairs bathroom on my own. My meow was tiny, and sounded like a little squeak, but I knew - even then - I love birds, my mommy, treats, and slinking (sleeping, aggressively).

What do you do for a living?

Well, ask a simple question, get a complex answer! First and foremost, I am the caretaker of my very own bachelor pad apartment. I have human servants who do my bidding and turn on bird videos on tv for me to watch, as well as feed me treats upon request, and who occasionally try to put holiday-themed costumes on me but for whom I will refrain from calling Cat Protective Services on for the time being.

Secondly, I am a full-time emotional support cat to my mommy, and I have proudly tracked and timed her work day routine to the hour she'll be home - at which I will be impatiently waiting at the door, trying to run out between her legs into the hallway.

I am a fierce advocate of and voice for the organization Black Cats' Lives Matter.
