Josh comes from a musical background, having learnt instruments (piano/trumpet/drums) from a young age - he eventually picked up electronic production and deejaying during early teenage years. At this time, relocating from the Eastern Cape to Cape Town ZA. Josh has gained experience in the music scene in Cape Town for the past 5 years, with his first residency at Pot Plant Club on Bree, and now often performs at various events in at MODULAR cpt, as well as, Just Between Us (JBU), FOUR FOUR among many others. Furger has also made some appearances at festivals such as Hotboxed's Thank Me Later, Smalltown Beat, Pangea and Wanderbay. A couple years ago Josh released independent EP's and is now featured on many South African music labels including Hotboxed, Future Sonner records and co-founder of SafeTapes. Josh also features in the live music realm, featuring trumpet on the latest Teal Street LP. Josh is a natural musician, able to compose/create & produce all types of music.
