How do you deal with criticism?

Accepted Answer

It depends on the type of criticism.
If it's constructive and meant to help me improve, I totally respect that and will listen to what you have to say. However, if it's just negative and you have nothing better to do than criticize a kid, that's your problem. I simply don't care and won't let it bother me :)

Tikrai taip, man tereikia sulaukti tinkamo amžiaus. Daugumoje projektų dalyviams reikia būti bent 16 metų, todėl, kai man sukaks 16, atsivers daug naujų galimybių.

i listen to a variety of music genres, mostly metal, rock & rnb. I mostly SING musical theatre, r&b, soul & gospel But again, i'm not picky, if it sounds good - it sounds good.

Su jauduliu nesusitvarkysi, ir tai visiškai normalu. Be jo nebūtų prasmes lipti į
sceną. Jaudulys yra dalis patirties, adrenalino, kuris tave lydi prieš, per ir po pasirodymo. Kad šiek tiek sumažinčiau jaudulį, tiesiog
prasidainuoju, pasikalbu su artimaisiais ir susitaikau su mintimi, kad viskas susiklostys taip, kaip turi būti.

What artists/bands do you listen to the most?

The one artist I’ll never get bored of is, without a doubt, Gary Moore. I absolutely love that guy. I can listen to him anytime, and he’s just incredible.

I listen to a variety of music genres and all kinds of bands, but the ones I play the most are Avenged Sevenfold, Scorpions, Bon Jovi, Falling in Reverse, and Ghost.

That said, I’ve got a lot of really great bands in my playlist, so I definitely wouldn’t say I have a favourite.

Who inspires you the most?

My biggest inspirations in music come from vocal technique, stage presence, and style. For vocals, I admire Lara Fabian, Tamia, and Mariah Carey. their emotional depth and unique voices shape my sound. Lara’s strong, stable technique and Tamia’s effortless delivery of demanding parts inspire me most. For stage presence, Lara Fabian shows the power of giving everything in every performance. In style and production, Tamia inspires me with her versatility and beautifully crafted songs, motivating me to explore and express myself in every piece I create.

Ką planuoji vėliau siekti su muziką?

Noriu toliau kurti muziką, kurioje tikrai jausis mano emocijos ir istorijos. :) Mano galutinė svajonė visada buvo būti muzikinio teatro dainininke-aktore, ir nuo pat vaikystės svajojau būti Christine iš Phantom of the Opera. Tai visada buvo mano įkvėpimas – tiek vokališkai, tiek scenoje.

Kaip tvarkaisi su nuovargiu?

Labai džiaugiuosi, kad myliu muziką, nes ji gydo. Ji padeda, kai jaučiuosi išsekusi ar be motyvacijos. Pastaruoju metu jaučiausi pavargusi ir pasimetusi, bet primenu sau, kodėl tai darau – dėl savęs ir savo ateities. Jaučiuosi laiminga, kad turiu svajones, kurias siekiu, ir darau viską, kad jas pasiekčiau. Turiu savo šeimą, kuri primena, kad esu verta ir turiu išlikti susikaupusi net tada, kai būna sunku. Išmokau ir leisti sau pailsėti, kai reikia. Muzika, šeima ir svajonės visada bus svarbiausia mano gyvenime.

Let's just say. I'm not very good at imagining fake situations and writing lyrics about things I haven't actually experienced.

Did you ever struggle with your voice? How did you overcome it?

Most singers go through different phases with their voice - puberty, mental blocks, and everything in between. For me, the biggest help was having someone who humbled me and pushed me to try things I was scared of. I thought I couldn’t sing Mariah Carey songs in the original key and lowered everything by a few semitones. Then he showed me that I just hadn’t tried. He didn’t teach me directly, but he opened a side of music I didn’t know, making me listen deeply, explore my voice, and improve. Without him, I wouldn’t have the voice I do now.

What scares you the most about pursuing this path?

what scares me most about this path is, like for everyone, the fear of not making it, of not achieving my dreams, of not reaching what i've imagined. but i try not to focus on that. instead, i put my energy into actually working toward my goals, without letting the worst-case scenario take over. of course, i have plans if this career doesn't work out, but music will always be a part of my life. even if it's a different path, it will always be connected to music, and that's non-negotiable for me.
