Fiona Kida

Fiona is a Tanzanian American writer-director working as a Writer’s Assistant on Netflix’s TV Show Bridgerton (S3-S5) and Amazon’s Lore Olympus (S1 & S2). She previously worked at Google's Creative Lab in NYC, Bad Robot, Annapurna, NBCUniversal, Meta, and Media Res. Her original screenplays have achieved recognition in several prestigious screenwriting competitions, having placed as a 2024 Finalist at the Nashville Film Festival, 2025 Semifinalist in BlueCat's Feature Competition, and 2021 Second-Rounder in the Sundance Development Track. As a director, an original short she directed in high school was nominated for a student Emmy, her last short, "Blue Hour" won a 2021 WAVE Grant to be produced, and she’s just completed production on her upcoming short film, “Two-Timing Gemini”. Fiona is currently writing the penultimate episode of Lore Olympus’s S1 as she is in post-production for her original short, and outlining a brand new feature.
