I'm new to the sport, how do I learn how to play?

Look for a "Beginner Lessons" time slot on PickupHub (link above) and sign up!  For about $4, you'll get a 1 hour group lesson.

I've taken the beginner lesson... now what?

Awesome!  Your next best step is to look for "Novice" time slots in PickupHub and start playing games!  Others who play during these time slots are welcoming and helpful, and you're sure to have lots of fun.

I want to practice and get better, maybe take my game to the next level, what should I do?

Amazing, love to hear it!  I would look for lessons and clinic opportunities.  You can look for the "Skills & Drills" time slot in PickupHub, where we work on a different part of the game each week.  You can also look for lessons and clinics in other places, such as Taylored Pickleball Academy, and those offered by nearby clubs such as Real Pickleball (Guelph), Four Fathers (Cambridge), and others!

I didn't see any lessons in PickupHub this week... what's happened?

We try to offer lessons once a week, typically on Wednesdays @ 4:30pm for Beginners, and @ 6pm for Skills & Drills.  Sometimes due to scheduling conflicts, we move them to Friday (same times).  Occasionally, we have to skip a week or two.

Look for the "List of Certified Coaches" link on the left side of the page.  These are all coaches trained and certified by Pickleball Canada; you can filter the list by name, location or certification type.
