We recently spent a few days at Everards Farm as part of an AI retreat and it really is a hidden gem for this sort of occasion.<br><br>Despite the weather doing its best to keep us indoors for most of the stay, the venue itself was so well designed that it genuinely didn’t matter. Most of our time was spent between the Great Barn and the Horsepower Barn, both of which created an amazing environment for conversation and thinking space.<br><br>What Robbie and Tracy have built is incredibly impressive. The place has real character and warmth to it. You can tell there’s a huge amount of thought behind every part of the experience. Every detail had clearly been considered, from umbrellas appearing exactly when needed to dryrobes for walking around the venue and keeping warm around the outside fire.<br><br>The quality of the accommodation was exceptional, from the beautiful decoration and finishing touches through to the genuinely comfy beds and incredibly quiet surroundings which made it very easy to properly relax and switch off.<br><br>The facilities were brilliant throughout the stay. The pool was superb, the gym was far better equipped than expected and the sauna, steam room and overhead cold plunge bucket certainly woke me up properly in the mornings.<br><br>The pygmy goats also deserve a mention. Very playful, permanently hungry and somehow managed to become part of the overall charm of the place within about five minutes.<br><br>Bruce, who was brought in to cook over open fire throughout the retreat, was exceptional. Steak, trout, cheesecake — everything was outstanding and it added a completely different feel to the evenings compared to a normal catered event. Lucy also did a fantastic job keeping everything organised and running smoothly behind the scenes across the few days.<br><br>What also came across throughout the stay was how much Robbie and Tracy genuinely care about creating a great experience for people. The whole place feels very personal rather than formulaic and that probably explains why the atmosphere feels so different to most venues.<br><br>A really memorable few days with very good people in a very special place.

Everards Farm is a truly special place. We were amazed by how much more beautiful it was in real life too. The cottage was perfect and the grounds were spotless. It was super peaceful and the pool and spa made it even more so. The owners, Robbie and Tracy, were unbelievably lovely! Tracy even popped to her house to get me some decaf teabags from her kitchen when I asked if they had any! Such kindness! We stayed there the weekend we got married in Somerset and they even helped my husband have some flowers delivered to me on the morning of the wedding. Couldn’t recommend this place enough! It was a dream.

A truly exceptional stay — Everards Farm is in a class of its own<br><br>We visited Everards Farm at the end of last week and it genuinely exceeded every expectation. From the moment you arrive, it’s clear that no detail has been overlooked in creating an experience that feels truly luxurious.<br><br>We stayed in Fika, and what an incredible space it is. Every little touch has been carefully considered, a fully equipped kitchen, a beautiful living room, a stunning bathroom, and outside, your own hot tub and fire area to unwind under the stars. There was even a welcome cake waiting for us on arrival, which set the tone perfectly for the whole stay.<br><br>Beyond the lodge itself, the wider venue is equally impressive, a swimming pool, gym, and entertainment area that make it feel more like a private resort than a holiday let.<br><br>But what truly elevates Everards Farm above anywhere else we’ve stayed is the team behind it. Robbie, Tracy and the rest of the crew are warm, attentive and genuinely passionate about making sure every guest has the best possible time. They didn’t just make us feel welcome, they made the whole experience unforgettable.<br><br>If you’re looking for a special getaway that delivers on every front, look no further.
