The Equality Project®

The Equality Project® is an Australian charity building connection, community and belonging across the rainbow communities. Founded in 2017 during the marriage equality campaign, we bring people together through gatherings, leadership programs and capacity-building that help communities adapt and lead change. Since 2018 we've connected over 5,000 people through events across Australia, including Better Together®, our flagship national LGBTIQA+ conference. We also deliver training, run Discovery Projects and produced Australia's first LGBTIQA+ Policy Guide. We partner with organisations of all sizes to create spaces where everyone feels respected, valued and able to thrive. Better together.
