Hands of Creation In this interactive digital art project, the profound relationships between space, matter, and human agency through a particle system driven by hand gestures is explored. Particles—the fundamental building blocks of matter—serve as the conceptual and visual foundation, transforming from a chaotic cloud into precise geometric forms. By making hand gestures the interface of creation, the work becomes a meditation on how we understand, shape, and interact with digital environments. Users transform abstract particles into recognizable, structured forms through the most intimate of human interfaces: our hands, our first and most powerful engineering tools. This process speaks to our deep-seated desire to create, to understand, and to bring order to the seemingly incomprehensible.

Ege is a first-year graduate student at New York University’s TISCH Interactive Telecommunications Program. With a bachelor’s degree in Media and Visual Arts and Psychology. He explores the intersection of technology, art, and human experience. His work focuses on computational media, physical computing, and creative coding, with an emphasis on creating interactive and immersive installations. He strives to craft experiences that engage audiences, challenge perceptions, and creates magic!
