People always asked me why?
I know it's a bit on the crazy side - who in their right mind would trade all the sweat and tears of becoming a Neurosurgeon to embark on something uncertain? One thing is for sure: it's not because of overwork, burnout, or toxicity like how KKM is portrayed. And also, it's not an overnight decision that made me take the leap; it was always in my mind since my day 1 as a specialist. I always asked myself, 'Will I be doing this for the rest of my life?' Until one day, the time was right, my heart said this is it - then I answered my personal calling without turning back.
