I began writing after I rediscovered my love for reading fiction, abandoned during a career in academic Obstetrics/Perinatology where I helped usher over 10,000 babies into the world. Compelled to continue educating while entertaining, I write about the experiences of Black women, often in historical fiction. I hope my readers gain new perspectives on their own lives.
