We had a terrible experience at this restaurant. They seated us and then no one came to see us for 15 minutes. Luckily a Skip driver came or we wouldn’t have been able to flag down our server. They took our order, 15 minutes later they came out and said they were out of rice and it would be another 20-30 minute wait for our food. We took this opportunity to ask for water since they hadn’t offered and we had already been there for 30 minutes. They said it would take 20-30 more minutes for our food, it really took another 40-45. When we got our food we had been at the restaurant for an hour and fifteen minutes. It was rice, plantains and chicken. The rice was okay, the plantains were okay but the chicken was overcooked and burnt. I asked for some sauce since it was really dry and they said that they would have to charge me for sauce. I didn’t eat the chicken and we spent almost $70 for two people for burnt chicken that took over and hour to come out. The waitress could have cared less that we didn’t enjoy our meal. The 5 star ratings are not true for this place, they must have gotten there friends and family to make those reviews. Terrible experience, terrible restaurant.

One of a kind experience, loved the food, the customer service was exceptional and unique. Loved the African (Nigerian) aesthetic and experience. Everyone got to try!!!

This  place is a great spot if you are craving yummy Nigerian food.
Its ran and managed by the owners personally. they are very nice and pleasant people. My family and I shot a couple  games of pool. Then
We enjoyed the egusi soup with pounded yam
Egusi soup with fufu
Honey chicken wings
And a shawarma
All the food was very  flavorful.
Will definitely be returning.
And there bathroom  sign cracked me up so thought I would share the pic as well.

This place definitely has potential but some details need to be worked on. My experience was disappointing unfortunately. I got the jollof rice with chicken. Asked for 4/10 spiciness and the server suggested to do 3/10 to be safe, I agreed. When the plate came it was waaaay spicier than a 3/10. I know it’s subjective but there is no way this was a 3/10 spice level. I regularly eat spicy food and have travelled to countries where food is spicy and usually don’t have problems. The rice was so spicy it wasn’t enjoyable. It had to be a 7-8/10 spice level. I thought the chicken was going to save the night but when I got close to the bone it was undercooked. These are two details that are easily fixable, and would make a huge difference in the customer’s experience. This plate of chicken and rice and a Nigerian pineapple flavoured drink (which did not taste like pineapple at all by the way) came to $40. In my opinion it’s quite expensive for what you get, even if there were no issues.

This is a Nigerian restaurant I found, and I saw those beautiful red spicy meat soups online — perfect for warming up a cold winter day. ❄️🍲 I ordered the beef + lamb soup with their special tomato-chili sauce — sweet, spicy, tangy… SO satisfying! But the meat really made my jaw work overtime… my teeth are still sore 🤣💪 (Me vs. Meat = 0:1 🥊) But every culture has its own magic. The owner told me: “If the meat is too soft, people don’t like it here.” They actually enjoy fighting the meat 😂 Completely the opposite of my food culture — and I love it. Their meat is absolutely incredible — with skin, fat, lean meat, and bone all connected together. The perfect combination of textures: not too fatty, not too lean, just pure collagen-rich goodness 💪✨ No wonder people say they age so gracefully — their cuisine is full of bone broth, gelatin, and all the good stuff that keeps skin glowing and youthful 🤩 Their chili sauce works perfectly It’s the spicy that not blind you to enjoy the taste. Mild but very appetizing! You can combine with anything you wish! as both a soup base and a noodle seasoning. Or just put it on your toast! I swear it’s amazing! That tangy + spicy kick brings every dish to life — opening up your taste buds with layers of excitement 🔥😋 For people who love heat, this is the kind of spice you’ve been missing for too long — a well-deserved reunion with happiness. 🌶💥 The owner was super sweet too — I arrived way too early before opening, but she still let me come inside and sit. 🤍 The chairs are comfy, the walls are covered with beautiful art, and there are board games by the bar — I can imagine how lively it gets when the place is full! Trying new flavors, new cultures, new chew-levels — that’s the joy of food 🌍✨ ——Artemis

Twas a little treasure! Happened on it by chance, we had gone to the tunnels of moose jaw tour and found this lovely place right next door! Staff were nice and helpful but we had several moments when we needed them and had to go hunt for the staff in the back or yell for attention. 😅. The food itself was lovely, the gizdodo, fried yam and sauce, poundo and eforiro were all delicious. And we bought a bottle of Smokey sauce for Jollof rice! I can’t wait to try it out. They also let us play with their African board games. Great experience! Thanks!
