When are tryouts?

Tryouts are only held between April and May of the prior school year. For example, for the 2026 school year, tryouts were held May 2025.

**There will be no other tryout for the 2026 school year.

Who can join the team(s)?

Accepted Answer

Our tryouts is open to students in grades 5th- 11th with or without prior cheer experience.

Only grades 6th- 8th are allowed on the game day team.

Grades 6th-11th are allowed on the competition team.

Question 3

Are tumbling and stunting skills required.

Accepted Answer

Not required for the game day squad, but strongly encouraged. We work on skill development during the season and welcome all levels.

In contrast, it is required on the competition team.

Question 4

How long does the cheer season run?

For game day (sideline cheer) it’s from August- Feb.

For the competition team, it’s the whole school year.

How many competitions do you attend?

It varies! Anywhere between 4 and 8 in a school year.

Do cheerleaders have to compete?

If you are on the competition squad, then absolutely. We participate in local, regional, and possibly state competitions. All team members are expected to compete.

Is cheer really expensive?

Fees vary for every squad.For us, it varies each season and fees cover uniforms, choreography, competition fees, travel, and other essentials. A breakdown is provided during parent meetings.

Are fundraisers avail to help with cost?

Yes! We offer several fundraising opportunities throughout the year to help offset expenses.
