Q: Will My Pet Portrait be Posted Online?

Yes (It goes in my portfolio/social media to further advertise my services). However, I will delay posting if you're ordering the portrait as a gift. No need to spoil the surprise! I will never resell your portrait to anyone else. This is a one-of-a-kind project just for you.

Q: How is delivery handled?

If you are local to Greenville, I can deliver it in person (we agree on a public place to meet). ‎ If the distance is too great, I'll ship it via FedEx. We can work out those details privately.

Tip: How to Choose a Good Pet Photo

-No humans allowed. I'm just here for the animals
‎ 
- The image should be in focus, with minimal blurriness (I can't paint details that I can't see)
‎ 
- The pet should be the main focus with nothing major obscuring its body
‎ 
- The background doesn't matter. I like to get rid of it anyway to really make pets the main focus of the painting.

- If part of your pet's body is cropped off the edge of the photo, that's fine. It will be cropped in the portrait as well, as I believe it's more honest/respectful to not try to guess what a pet's body parts truly look like.

How to Order!

Accepted Answer

1) Email or text me from the buttons on my Linktree page

2) Include your name, the name of your pet, and include your chosen photo that you want me to recreate.
‎ 
3) If the photo doesn't meet my requirements, I may ask for another (See "Tip: How to Choose a Good Pet Photo" in the FAQ)

4) Once I've approved your photo, I'll collect payment up front and begin working on your pet portrait (See "Price and How to Pay" for more info).

5) When the portrait is finished, I'll contact you on the same phone number/email you used originally to arrange for meetup/delivery.

Portrait Size and other Details

Size: 12" x 16". The painting can be portrait or landscape, depending on your original photo.

Color: Black and white only (my personal preference)

Packaging: The print is wrapped in a plastic sleeve with a sturdy cardboard shipper to keep it flat.

Can I have multiple pets in a portrait?

Not at this time. For the sake of simplicity and easy pricing, I'll limit it to 1 pet in each portrait. If I change this policy later, I'll update the FAQ and marketing materials.

Refund Policy

Payments are non-refundable once a portrait has been commissioned or delivered.

If an unexpected event prevents the completion of a portrait, refunds can be given at the artist's discretion.

Waiting List

Accepted Answer

Portraits are painted on a first-come, first-served basis. All requests are put into a spreadsheet in order of arrival. Depending on the amount of requests, I may need to wait a few days before I take a payment and begin work. This ensures I don't overwhelm myself and still hit deadlines.
