Do I need to speak the language fluently?

Fluency is not expected! Our events typically have tables set up across beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels. Both language learners and native speakers are welcome :)

Why should I try a Convo language club?

Are language clubs led by teachers?

Our language clubs are not led by teachers BUT we do have fluent speakers join as facilitators. Beginner and intermediate tables will have a facilitator available to guide conversations and provide vocabulary support.

Where do I go for a language club?

Convo clubs are hosted by different cafes and bars around NYC! Cafe and bar locations will be posted under event descriptions :)
