Light Up the Dark: An Interactive Memoir

Light Up the Dark: An Interactive MemoirChristine MaticsPaperbackAs a child, were you ever provoked with fear by looking at none other than a “monster”? Later, light revealed nothing more than a pile of clothes in the corner of the room. Fear is a lie, and lies are dismantled by truth. Author Christine Matics listened to fear for so long that fear became the schoolyard bully she anticipated. She played ugly words on repeat in her mind—you’re not pretty enough, not talented enough, not good enough. Struggling to believe God’s truth over the lies after the worst injustice of her life, she hit rock bottom. Journey with Christine through the darkest days imaginable after the court sytem removed her children from the family’s loving home. Her raw vignettes bear her soul, showing her resilience and bringing to life a light that lit up the darkness. The pointed questions and prompts will help unveil unwanted “monsters” in your life as well.
