How do I switch my computer’s display so it shows on the projector?

If you want to switch the display from Extended to Duplicate, or vice versa, press Windows Key + P and choose the screen sharing option you prefer.

The lectern monitor displays "Power button lockout", and the display is blank or black.

Accepted Answer

The monitor is on, and you are seeing that statement as the power button is locked to stop individuals from turning off equipment when it's not necessary.

To switch the display from Extended to Duplicate, or vice versa, press Windows Key + P and choose the screen sharing option you prefer.

Question 3

The projector is showing either a black or a blue screen.

Accepted Answer

On the touch panel, under “System Tools”, ensure that the Picture Mute option is selected to Off.

Question 4

What if there is an image on the projector but not the lectern monitor?

Accepted Answer

If the light on the monitor is blue, ensure the screen is duplicated following the steps in “How do I switch my computer’s display so it shows on the projector?”

If the light is orange, check to make sure the HDMI is fully seated in the back of the monitor.

If there is no light on the monitor, push the power button on the lower right and check the power cable in the back.

How do I select what source is projecting?

1.) Tap the touch panel on the lectern.

2.) Tap the touch panel again to begin the bootup sequence.

3.) You will then be presented on the panel with source selection options!

How do I access something in the cabinet?

Accepted Answer

The lecterns are supposed to be kept locked at all times. If you've been issued a key for ANY standard lectern, it will work on all lecterns on campus. You can get a key issued by submitting a ticket via help.cnu.edu to request key training.  Unlocking lecterns for others or giving your key to others is prohibited
