I'm a 36 year old Father of 2. I live with my lovely children Freddie & Violet, my partner Nina and our Golden Retriever named Bolan in dear old Whitby, North Yorkshire. We moved here in 2020 to escape Leeds (although we sometimes miss it). 

I've worked in Social Care in one form or another for almost 20 years. It's what I know best and where I want to be career-wise. 

I've been lucky enough to work right across the sector and gaining probably what is an unusually broad mix of skills and experiences having worked with children, adults, the elderly, complex health care, complex challenging behaviour,  for private, public and the charity sector and across multiple models of care and support from residential to supported living and domiciliary care. 

In recent years I've turned that broad experience into something useful for various organisations - making real changes at an organisational / strategic level in many cases. This has brought me immense satisfaction - I love it. 

Who am I?

I'm looking for a challenging and career-defining role. I want to do my best and most impactful work yet. 

I'm looking for roles in Quality / Compliance / Governance / Change Management / Senior Leadership in Social Care. I want to make an impact and drive real change wherever I go. 

In work, I am at my most content when faced with difficult and complicated problems that need solving yesterday. I'm a confident leader and calm under pressure. My communication skills are excellent and I have been able to influence key decision makers on numerous occasions. 

I am highly tech literate and am very interested in the interface between tech and care - I am adept and speaking both languages and have used this skill to great effect.

I love solving problems. 
I love getting stuff done. 
I produce results, at pace and with high attention to detail.
