Ceri Woolway

I started my career as a web designer and quickly became known as the person to go to when an unusual design was required, a needy client needed it right first time, or the one to go to when everything was going wrong. As time went on I discovered I had an aptitude for the code behind the websites I was creating and embraced the freedom it gave me to step up my designs without needing someone else to code them for me. Today I am a software engineer, using my coding skills to ensure that users have a slick user experience on Riverford's e-commerce website and app. In my personal time I also enjoy working on fun projects that develop my coding skills further and demonstrate the true capabilities of code beyond clicking a few buttons. My proudest coding achievement was when I spent a year coding a browser-based version of Monopoly. This helped me hone my coding skills to a high level, while also resulting in me knowing the rules of Monopoly far more intimately than anyone ever should!
