Book&Table is a marketplace for in-person and online tutors. Once vetted and approved, tutors create a public profile on the marketplace to showcase the subjects they teach and their pedagogy.

How does Book&Table work?

1️⃣ Students and parents browse tutor profiles to find a good match.
 
2️⃣ They contact a tutor directly through their profile and the tutor receives a message, which includes the student's contact information. 
 
3️⃣ Tutor speaks directly with the student and their parents to confirm upcoming lessons. 
 
4️⃣ Tutor uses Book&Table to create a lesson plan for each lesson, which is also how parents are charged for the lesson.

5️⃣ After the lesson is complete, the tutor uses Book&Table to send a lesson recap, including the homework assignment, to the student. Once submitted, the payment for the lesson is sent directly to the tutor's bank account.

How much are tutors paid?

Tutors determine their hourly rate for each lesson and receive 97% of that rate. The 3% reduction is the credit card processing fee for each booking.
