Such a hidden gem!
We came here on a monday for their oysters special but they ran out since they have that same special all night long on a sunday jazz night.
However, we still ended up having the best meal ever. The price compared to the quality and quantity so just wow, left me speechless.
Definitely a good location for a date night or drinks with friends.
10/10 solid and impressive choice.
however, the service is so so. Kinda got backhanded passive attitude when things got busy.

Very cool little bar and spot on st laurent to stop for 1 or 2 drinks on a nice summer day while bar hopping. Cocktails are on the more pricier side, but are very good.
I would not eat there again, maybe just the 1$ oysters but the potatoes were burnt and flavourless, the pulled pork burger was just meh. The salad though, was quite tasty.
I loved the decor, the music was loungy style and they had a DJ there which made it nice and cozy; also sometimes live music which I would love to see/hear.
The service was slow, it took a while for the waiter to come see us, and wasn’t very busy which lost some points for me.

Nous y sommes allés pour un 5@7 d’équipe et c’était parfait ! L’ambiance est chaleureuse et conviviale, le service attentionné, et le choix de cocktails, mocktails et assiettes à partager a vraiment fait l’unanimité. Un endroit idéal pour se retrouver entre collègues ou entre amis !

We're from out of town and visited this bar on a whim, and I'm so glad we did. Shout out to our server Tyler who brought great energy and vibes! My boyfriend is a big whiskey drinker and he put together some amazing flights for him to try, and also took the time to explain the flavour profiles and answer our questions. They can customize your drinks and flight if you let them know your palette and preferences. We splurged but you can tell them your budget and they can give you recommendations based on that.<br><br>This place is great for non whiskey drinkers too! They've got some really cool cocktails and delicious food, like the cheese board and bootlegger poutine. The jazz band was really the icing on the cake. We had such a great time and recommend it to anyone looking for a cocktail bar or place to unwind for a drink after a hot summer day walking around the streets of Montreal!

Came here on a Wednesday evening and made it in time for their happy hour! We got each of their happy hour mocktails and they were all very well crafted! We also got their bootlegger beer and it came in a boot glass! The jazz band was very good as well!

We stumbled into Bootlegger without knowing it was Jazz night, and were instantly transported to the Prohibition Age! What a cozy, lovely spot for drinks; I got the le nuit cocktail, and it was a genuine feast for the senses. The coconut sugar added such a beautiful textural dimension to the drink, I wanted to lick the glass clean!<br>The jazz musicians were fantastic and the staff were all so helpful and sweet. I would love to come back to try the food here! Cannot recommend enough.
