What is ARMY Project 529?

We're a BTS ARMY community for adults. We started as a way to stay connected while BTS was enlisted with a plan to dig deep into BTS content from debut to current day. Along the way we started a Discord server, TikTok and YouTube live broadcasts, regular watch parties, in-person gatherings and events, a global map to find ARMY friends, our own merch shop, and so much more.

What does 529 mean?

There were 529 days between January 1, 2024 (our project launch) and June 13, 2025 (BTS’ debut anniversary, aka Festa). We anticipated this time would be lonely for ARMY and we'd need to keep each other company during a time of "relative silence" from the members. We laugh now, but at the end of 2023, we were nervous about not having any new content to talk about!

What are your goals?

Our original goal was to stay connected during the time BTS was enlisted. Now that we've done that, and found a great community along the way, our goal is to create spaces and activities where people feel safe, included, and among friends. We also strive to provide accurate history and updates about BTS while having a great time!

How do I join?

We offer many spaces and activities you can participate in! The best way to stay informed is to join our Discord server under "Find Your Community". This is where we chit-chat, host watch parties, and make plans for in-person gatherings. You can also join our YouTube and TikTok lives twice a week, or test the waters by following us on social media.

Is it free?

Most of what we do is free! Our Discord community, live broadcasts, and over a year of in-depth BTS history blogs don't cost a penny. We do have bills to pay, so if you'd like to support, there are several options under the Support section on Linktree.

Who are you?

Accepted Answer

We're a group of six women with varied life experiences who became friends while starting AP529--Stef, Patricia, Christina, Quince, Doc, and Katie. We also have an incredible team of moderators and other volunteers who help make our activities possible.
